Greatest tool ever! Brian Williams obviously never used a framing square. Comes in handy to cut staircase supports when you need to figure rise and run cuts. Carpenters are fantastic with math.
Sorry I said 87 5/8”. Should be 82 5/8”. You can lay out stair risers with a framing square. Old carpenters are pretty sharp. Cabinet making is an art form. It’s the little marks on the ruler that screw you up but buildings stay we just pass along. You pay for the carpenters tools, you just rent his brain. Trumps a builder the rest are occupiers. I M H O.
