This thing is still killing a lot of people and we can’t let up on it, or surrender like France.
At the same time, panic is pointless. Of course, it’s mostly the Meta Concern Trolls panicking that people are paying attention to a real threat instead of them or their boogeymen.
This is not the end of the world. And it’s not “just another flu”. It’s a bad disease that we need to stamp out (too late) or at least contain until we have appropriate countermeasures in place.
Then we need to figure out where it really came from and deal with that.
There has been research that says the virus didn’t come from the Wet market in Wuhan, just passed through it.
There is also evidence that this came out of the biolab in Wuhan.
I’m sure the truth will be exposed at some point. Whether anybody believes it or acts on it is another question.
