Reporting cases does not mean personal information is to be released. The governor did report there were cases in Florida. Perhaps the two statutes might be helpful.
Name the rep. Unless they are an actual official going by the written statute and regulations what they tell you means nothing. I have come across state employees who decide they can make stuff up as they go along.
leaking that info would certainly kill the massage biz in florida way more than the sting on the Pats owner did!
They moved quietly Five not just One cases out of state before they had to REPORT the location of these infected people .

You are probably right about a Disney connection. Perhaps foreign workers brought in to replace American IT employees. And yes Disney has a lot of influence. “Reedy Creek Improvement District.” was just the start.
O.k. Now I do agree with you. Basic locations can be released without violating confidentiality. Still have not seen any reports of people being moved out of state.

On whether people in state departments release wrong information which is contradicted by written regulation or statute? Not an expert, but certainly no stranger to it happening.
I have also discovered that 411.myflorida.com is very handy. You can often reach people in higher positions rather easily.
