When I lived in Michigan I think an ad for Art Van ran on TV or Radio every five minutes. They were as ubiquitous as Bloomberg’s ads.
That store has been “going out of business” since I was a kid.
Their commercials were obnoxious.
Lol...yeah the joke was to act surprised when art van was Having a sale.
Ads for the Fretter Superstore were almost as bad.

ABC is the last one standing.
But Highland had the best commercials.
Highland... Fretter...
Those are names Ive not heard in a long time... a long time
“””””””I wonder if the sale can be delayed. That would be, in legal terms, an Art Van Delay. “”””””””
Van Delay only does latex.
Online mattresses probably hurt that part of the business.
For many furniture stores, the going out of business forever sale has become an annual event.
