Elizabeth Warren, the senator from Massachusetts who promised to deliver big, structural change and vigorously fight corruption, will end her presidential bid Thursday after a series of devastating primary results crippled her once-promising campaign.
She was due to inform her staff Thursday, a person familiar with her plans said.
Warren, 70, entered the Democratic Party race in February 2019 after months of anticipation and quickly built a formidable organization. She eschewed large-dollar fundraisers, often saying that defeating President Trump would take a true grass-roots movement.
Warren at times electrified voters and attracted big crowds, and at several points she seemed a good bet to win the nomination. She turned in powerful debate performances, issued dozens of policy proposals and was an impassioned, efficient campaigner.

Despite all the talk about “Diversity” down to 2 old white dudes. One is a Commie who things it is always 1917 or 1968 and a senile life long political hack
She will almost certainly back Biden, unless she plans on leaving politics. Backing Sanders would be political suicide right now.
Now, if she REALLY cared about the environment she’d also........... Oh. Never mind. I guess, if she still has the gig, back to her $400K one class. Surely she can fit that in to her busy senatorial duties.
Every divorced man in America just breathed a sigh of relief. Including me.
I would love to know why so many Democrats got out of the race, all within a few days of each other. We may never know what happened behind the scenes, to cause this chain of events. We may never know what promises or back room deals were made. But I smell a rat with so many suddenly deciding now is the time to exit.
Or maybe Bernie will give her one of the houses he scored in 2016.
“She eschewed large-dollar fundraisers”
ROTFLOL!
The Bezos Blog simply can’t break it’s habit of lying about everything: Liz has the largest PAC in the Dem field and ALL of its donations are secret!
She’s already caused Bernie’s demise, costing him at least three states on Super Tuesday.
IBWB
Flailing Flabby Arms done? At least she had more staying power than Peter who wanted to be the 1st female prez.
You can take off the warpaint now, injin Lizzy Warpath. Go tend to your slot machine CONgre$$. I see it’s paying well.
Heap bad news. Come let us wave our arms frantically and yowl like maniacs in her honor
Thank God. No more School Marm voice.
Now we just have the idiot, the screamer, and Tulsi.
She should be on the debate stage, saying Really? Look at these guys.
“Despite all the talk about Diversity down to 2 old white dudes. One is a Commie who things it is always 1917 or 1968 and a senile life long political hack”
yeah, Dems are in sad shape if the best and brightest they have to offer is an ancient millionaire who’s a life-long avowed communist and an ancient millionaire fool with rapidly developing dementia who doesn’t know what state he’s in and can’t tell the difference between his wife and sister ...
obviously the next two debates will be epic opportunities for vid clips for future campaign ads ...
Tucker was all over it. He said that we misread them because we don’t think like them. The one strength of the D party is their ability to come together as a united front. That is what we are now seeing.
Of course, it appears Biden’s dementia is getting worse by the day so they must have some plan to replace him, just in case. And if they don’t replace him, he will be offered up as, basically, a puppet of the deep state.
nice, this fake lying squaw injun pockets all that heavy campaign cash, get more cash and maybe a VP or cushy cabinet spot.
what a fraud - clear as day.
I agree it’s bad news. I hoped that she’d have at least 10% of the delegates, when their convention starts. If, when their convention starts, we don’t know who the nominee is, that would cause Democrats to keep arguing longer. I hope that Gabbard will get a lot more delegates.
