The Democrats running for president will meet for their 11th debate later this month, but a new promise of higher qualification requirements could exclude one candidate who would have made the cut under previous rules.
Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who won one delegate in the American Samoa caucuses on Super Tuesday, met the mark set by the Democratic National Committee for the three previous debates, but DNC communications director Xochitl Hinojosa tweeted Tuesday night that they are upping the requirements going forward.

The Hawaii congresswoman once served as the DNC's vice chairwoman but has since criticized the organization, recently blasting them for changing debate rules in a way that allowed former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg to participate while still keeping her out.
Wouldn’t want any people of color to darken that debate stage. So much for being the party of diversity. It’s going to the same as 2016...a bunch of old white men and an old white granny.

It’s like the high jump or the pole vault: You qualified at that height (i.e., under our rules) so let’s change the rules and raise that bar up another notch!

Yeah, plus it's not unreasonable to raise the admission standards as the process progresses.
I disagree with Tulsi on many things, but she's not crazy and she's not senile. Warren stays in (if she wants to) to make feminazis happy and draw votes from Bernie.

Warren is simply playing Bernie spoiler at this point... I am sure she is hoping to get something out of it from the DNC... If she hasn’t already been promised something to stay in it....
However, she’ll run out of cash soon enough.. but if she draws votes from Bernie to keep Biden up big for the next few weeks, then the race is over.
So the next debate will have 4 contestants—two old white men and two women of color (one Cherokee and one Samoan).
It's not 'cause you're female, or because you are... well, you know... let's say not quite as white as Elizabeth Warren or anything like that.
Maybe if you were to come out as gay you would be more accepted by the clique.

Good point. I forgot about that. I guess it’s too late for Gabbard to grovel and apologize.
I agree Tulsi is not bat crap crazy, like the rest of them... But its something more than that.... there is something personal going on with how they treat her.
