Police are hunting four men after an Asian student was battered by racists saying they dont want your coronavirus.
Jonathan Mok, 23, was punched and kicked by a group of three or four men and a woman as he walked along Oxford Street last Monday, February 24.
The Singaporean, who has lived in London for two years while studying at UCL, was allegedly taunted: I dont want your coronavirus in my country.
Scotland Yard has released images of four men they wish to speak to in connection with the racially aggravated incident.
Detective Sergeant Emma Kirby said: This attack left the victim shaken and hurt. Theres no room on our streets for this kind of violent behaviour and we are committed to finding the perpetrators.
I am keen to speak to anyone who has information about this assault. I would like to identify and speak to the four men pictured who may be able to help me with our enquiries.
Jonathan said the attack started when he heard one of the passing group make a remark about Covid-19.
As he turned to face them one warned Dont you dare look at me before swinging a punch at his face.
Posting about the terrifying attack on Facebook, Jonathan said the first blow took [him] by surprise before a second quickly followed and a third attacker waded in with a kick.
He said: The guy who tried to kick me then said, I dont want your coronavirus in my country, before swinging another sucker punch at me, which resulted in my face exploding with blood (from my nose), where the blood was splattered all across the pavement.
Doctors warned him he may need surgery to repair facial fractures.
[Which one is Jeff Goldblum?]

He should have started to cough his ass off.
