Traditional Democrats, especially the ones in high positions in the Party, saw the big lurch to the left by Bernie, AOC, and her squad. With Bernie praising Castro in Cuba, they knew they had to act or lose control of the Party. They wanted a charismatic candidate like JFK or Bill Clinton. They might have the problems, but could govern well enough that the Party would function well.
I suspect Joe Biden is their sacrificial lamb. President Trump will obliterate Joe who, instead of running for President, should be getting treated for what looks like dementia. No, the Party will feed Joe to the Donald and hope to pick up the pieces afterward. The problem is that it is too late - the squad wants power now. I suspect there will be a big split...

Milwaukee is going to be a blast.

She said Bernie was committed so everyone voted for Joe instead.

Personally I think Bernie goes third-party and makes them rue the day.
He probably has only has a decade or less left on this planet.
What has he got to lose? It will make him a legend among Socialists for finally smiting the Corporatist wing of the Democrat Party.

What many have observed is true: when it comes right down to it, Bernie does not like confrontation. He needs, even surreptitiously, to use the powerful weapons against Biden that are at hand: corruption and cognition. If Bernie’s unwilling to fight fire with fire, hes done

Yes, a coup, and SOP for the Party.

What is it with these Democrats thinking people voting against their favored candidate is a coup?

Bwahahaha, and I thought Democrats couldn’t keep losing their minds after having lost them for this long.

“....If it had been an honest vote, Biden would not have gotten shit....”
Yep. An “honest vote” to the RATs is like a cross to a vampire.
IF it weren’t for the Kenyan Usurputation, old PedoJoe would have been cast on the huge RAT pile of “useless wonders” a looonnnggg time ago. A “useless wonder” is why their messiah, the mighty odongo, picked the POS to start with. He was only good for “insurance” to keep odongo from being removed. Even to this day, the odongo knows he’s a “useless wonder” by not endorsing him. PedoJoe belongs in a nursing home, not the WH.

They wanted a charismatic candidate like JFK or Bill Clinton. Beto was rested and ready...and they gave up on him. :)

[ Marianne Williamson (D) blasted coverage of Joe Bidens (D) Super Tuesday success, stating plainly that his rise should not be considered a resurrection but the result of a coup. ]
Well, a broken clock and all that.
Yes, MW, just like Hillary Clinton and the “Russia” lie.
A coup. A coup by Democrats. It’s what they do.
But, remain Democrat you will. No? Yes, you will.
