It’s already been a month in Milan.

My son has 2 friends that think they got Covid 19 in Milan last month, days before they locked the city down. THey are with an OU study abroad program, and OU is recalling everyone from Italy. My son’s friends described the symptoms as “I’ve been sicker”.

For the death rate to be 3.4%, there would be dead kids everywhere (like 1918-1920) (there are Mass graves in Texas and Oklahoma Cemeteries). Maybe 1,000 - 5.000 80 year olds die in Milan over the next year (how many would have died, anyway). Call me skeptical, but I’d bet money it won’t be 100,000 (3.0% 0f 3,000,000) in Milan.

It seems to be killing older people, kids are barely affected but can spread it.

The WHO and CDC came up with two numbers that are concerning - based on data by two organizations who study these things.

Infection rate of Corona: 40-70%;
Mortality rate of Corona: 3.4%;

Contrast that to the flu:

Influenza infection rate: 10% of unvaccinated adults;
Mortality rate of influenza: 0.1%;
Annual deaths (US) per year: +/- 30,000

So now you do the math and it's looking like 6 million will perish in the USA alone from this.
