Sure you can. It has to go through a FFL, but you can purchase a n-line.

Actually, you can. But the transferral to you must happen via a licensed dealer, and with background check. Some states may have stricter requirements, or ban completely, but not all.

Not true. I do it under my C&R license once or twice a year.

Technically, you can, but it won’t be sent directly to you. It would be sent to a person who is federally licensed to sell them that will then do the transaction in person. So in a sense technically you can buy a firearm over the internet but you won’t get get it shipped directly to your house.

From the Article How to buy a Gun Online
There are only three simple steps:

1. Find the gun you want You pay us directly for the firearm. (Click HERE for payment options)

2. Choose your FFL dealer (Federal Firearms License): We cannot ship a gun direct to you, we do ship to the local FFL dealer of your choice. Any legitimate gun store or gun dealer has an FFL license; pawn shops and collectors may also have them.

3. Pick up your gun: Inspect your gun before accepting the transfer. Upon inspection of your gun if you find any defects leave the gun at the dealer and alert us right away. We will have it picked up for free and offer you an exchange or refund at no cost.

By the way this was from a Google search using the keywords “online gun store” and then choosing the third result at random. The link is only for reference and is not implied to be an advertisement in anyway. People need to do their research before spouting off. Personally, I don’t care how a firearm is obtained as long as that firearm is in the hands of a law abiding citizen who will use it in a lawful manner. I am against gun-control and registrations as firearms are ever more needed than they have ever been with an increase of crime due to the incompetence of the last administration putting officers of the law as literal targets.

Decades ago, when Sears, Roebuck & Co. were around, you could order via their mail order catalog. But I believe it was usually Daisy Rifles, etc.
