It changed its stand some years ago to be eligible to run in the World Zionist Organization elections.

That’s why it has ministers in the Israeli government where the haredi parties don’t have them because they don’t recognize the legitimacy of the Jewish State.

i guess it depends on how you define Zionist. If you consider recognizing the government as Zionist then some of the Arabs are also Zionists;)
If it’s committed to building up Zionist dreams & aspirations, then Shas is definitely not committed to that...
I think it was a technical change to be eligible to run in the WZO congress...
