“In 2001, State Farm Insurance ranked the intersection of Flamingo Road and Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines,”The Most Dangerous Intersection in America”.”

That’s because confused people stop in the intersection trying to figure out where to go.

Streets should have one-word names and there should only one such street in the county.

Ralph, Apple, Mary, Fish, etc. In big cities you might get stuck living on Manure road but your mail wouldn’t wind up across town.

I grew up in Queens NY. Most streets and avenues are numbers. Makes it much easier to get around.

Street names often change when crossing a major highway. Designed to confuse tourists?

One street in Miami is named after a Peruvian Admiral. Local pols have their names removed from street signs upon convictions.
