Unfortunatley true.

Cary (suburb of Raleigh) is still relatively conservative.

The teachers’ unions practically control the state now - for the Dems.

But Cooper (Dem Governor) won through illegal (should have been) election shenanigans....

...
Common area for relocated Yankees yes I used to live in cary. And when I went to North Carolina State University I interned there for two summers. I remember one summer SAS picnic I was in line right behind Jim goodnight I had a very nice conversation with him. And I just remember standing next to one of the barrels of boiled shrimp and I just kept eating more and more and more and it literally was a barrel shrimp.
I hate to age myself however when I graduated and when I moved away from Raleigh and Cary several years later they were still working on the Centennial Campus at North Carolina State University. I have actually never set foot on the Centennial Campus but I understand it is probably twice as big as the original campus now. Now I live in Cincinnati and my two sons go to University of Cincinnati which is kind of funny because it’s another red brick Urban school which underperforms in basketball and the only difference is University of Cincinnati has a med school whereas NC State has the veterinary school. What they do have in common is every once in a while somebody gets shot on campus .

Thanks for your info. So you know about Cary and Raleigh.

Glad you got to speak to Jim Goodnight. What a company SAS is!
