Put “locusts” into the YouTube search engine and you can watch them eating everything green plus corn on the cob. One even shows them mating.
I was trying to find a video that showed them devouring a crop in seconds, as has been reported, but I guess Kenyans are not standing around with their smartphones while their farms are being eaten.
They are coldblooded, so they crawl along the ground before the sun rises and warms them up and then they become a swarm.
They are eating anything that moves in their local markets so eat bugs too

Ran into her last night. She looked it up and confirmed that yes, indeed, CNN wants you to eat mealworm burgers.
