IOWA CITY — The people in the crowd were angry, and “Chapo Trap House” wanted them to stay that way. The five hosts of the popular socialist podcast wanted everyone to know they had all been lied to. About everything.
The media they consumed was fake news aimed to distract them from the only war worth fighting: the class war. Politesse, civility, even pleasure — those were tools of the neoliberal oppressor. The right answer is rage.
“That joy,” the Chapo co-host Will Menaker said to the crowd gathered in Iowa City on the eve of the Iowa caucus. “That’s good but it’s not as good a motivator when you’re really going to war as spite.”
“Let the hate feed you,” the co-host Amber A’Lee Frost added as the audience roared.
And it does. Especially toward other Democrats.
Supporters of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. are “gelatinous 100-year-olds.”
Former Mayor Pete Buttigieg is “a bloodless asexual.”
“The gayest thing about him is he descends from an ethnic group that’s like a little toy dog,” Ms. A’Lee Frost said.
When Senator Elizabeth Warren’s name came up, the crowd made the sound of a snake hissing. She had accused Senator Bernie Sanders of saying that a woman could not beat President Trump, and so she is a snake.
“Yes, my sssssoldiers,” Mr. Menaker said.
Former Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s run appalls them. “Beat him so badly that this midget gremlin won’t even have a shot even with a trillion dollars,” Mr. Menaker said.
“Kill him,” someone shouted from the audience. These were jokes, of course. Everyone was laughing.
As Mr. Sanders rises in the polls and claims strong showings in early states, a new set of media stars is on the rise, too.

I dunno...figure out why some of today’s youts think becoming some kind of LGBTQueer that would have got the crap knocked out of a kid not that many years ago is cool and I suspect you’ll have the same answer.
Perversion and anti-Americanism has become fashionable. I suspect two generations of leftist domination of education, the media, and pop culture might have something to do with it.
I simply cannot believe all these TV *live* interviews with S.C. voters, most of them blacks, and they robotically stating they will vote for Sanders or Biden. What is wrong with these people? Do they have brains in their heads? I have to wonder...Have they been paying attention at all? What affects their cognitive understanding and perception? They must like living on the Democrat plantation. Even with the doors to freedom from all that crap, right there in front of them. They refuse to open their eyes. Sad, very sad...
I love the smell of desperation from the NYT.
In other words Democrats have created a monster they can no longer control.

Long before these interviews they have gone to meetings you and I are not privy too. In these community meetings they are told blatant lies about how the Democratic candidate is going give them everything they ever dreamed of when they're elected.
Those who run these events describe Utopia and these people are dumb enough to believe them.
Go to a library in a minority community. Read the bulletin board of upcoming community events. Attend a meeting. You'll learn why they believe what they believe.
Unfortunately, given their voting record, I’d have to say the interviews are representative of what they generally think.
I’m sure it will get pulled, but I would say if that was real, I’d send $10,000 to Trump’s re-election campaign.

Uhh, Leo? This is a DEMOCRAT Primary and those voters being asked who they would vote for were DEMOCRATS...see and what they were being asked was who they will vote for in the DEMOCRAT PRIMARY.

I had an uncle (deceased) who was one of the wealthiest men in the state of Louisiana, if he were still around and saw that he would have billboards with that comment plastered all over New Orleans and the state.
