Tough times toughen.
We children of The Greatest Generation didn’t have it as tough as our parents and grandparents, but they made damn sure we knew what tough times were!
So we have a pretty clear color photo of tough times.
Unfortunately, most of our children and their children have lived on Easy Street, pretty much.
And, they sureasHell are not grounded in American History and Civics!
When tough times get here, as they certainly will, alotta snowflakes are gonna melt, BIG TIME!
But, you know what, the USA will continue and thrive, particularly if we conservatives get the House in order and keep the White House and Senate.
Survival of the fittest is REAL!
Kids today are so caught up in social media and meaningless froth. At my granddaughter’s school they have “Be Kind” signs everywhere. I about had a come apart the first time I saw them. We had a talk about that. I told her being kind is fine but being strong matters more. She is so smart and so ignorant. I will be keeping her this summer. She will know American history when I get through with her.
