And how many exposed to influenza? 300 Million?

And how many exposed to Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus? A few thousand?

Better stat, how many get influence vs. die, by age and compare that to Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus.

And no one shuts down the country (look at NASA's latest pics showing decrease in pollution across China) or bulldozes roads into cities to isolate a simple flu. Did China over react? And Trump closed travel from China, did he over react?

Be careful. The virus has been in the US for a couple of weeks...

I am sure flu will kill more...but “relatively” speaking you are comparing a near complete baseball game to the score after two outs in the top of the first.

Flu is already an established illness in the US. The CDC goal is to keep it, Ebola, SARS, and other new or rare illnesses from getting established here in the US. I read somewhere that SARS had as much as a 25% mortality rate which is why a really strong effort was made to isolate the spread. When the “Spanish Flu” of 1919-20 circled the earth I think about 50 million people died. It was just an especially nasty flu species which spread especially fast as people moved around because of the end of WW1. Soldiers coming home, refugees returning to their cities, etc.
