Ain’t that the truth. This forum has more than our fair share of them. Handwringers. They hyperventilate over every perceived dem threat, every perceived Trump misstep. They are tedious. They are the same sort who freaked out in 1999 over the Y2K scare. Believed the Peak Oil scare, etc...

btw, Y2K was real, but enough IT people (like myself) stuck their necks out at our corporations and raised enough hell that we forced ossified management off the golf courses long enough to take the matter seriously enough to devote resources to fixing the problem BEFORE it occurred, which is why the predicted problem didn’t occur ... there were thousands of us beavering away to fix it, but we first had to convince management to make it a priority ...
one interesting consequence is that whenever anyone fills out a form anymore, we all have become habituated to entering all four digits of the year, instead of the 20th century habit of entering only the last two digits ... probably most people don’t even remember doing that, even ones who were adults then and automatically did it hundreds of time that way then ...

but, i might add, i agree 100% with you about the tediousness of the ignorant handwringers here, particularly the vast bulk who like to make up “facts” to justify their negativity and alarmism ...
nonetheless, i think it’s obvious to everyone, that the fake stream enemedia has deliberately seized on this latest issue, and has been deliberately over-blowing it and deliberately trying to foster panic, and that their primary motive is to try to hurt President Trump ... that’s not a difficult conclusion to arrive at, because for four years EVERYTHING the fake stream enemedia has done is to try to deliberately hurt President Trump ... they probably view coronavirus as a godsend to take the emphasis off of the Democrat party disintegration and the fact that the Dems are on the verge of nominating an old white guy who is radical, avowed communist as their standard-bearer, all the while two other old white guys who are super-rich billionaires have managed to buy their way into the Dem power vacuum ...
