How in the world could anyone deny Darwin’s connection to racism? His book was entitled: “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection: Or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.”

Whenever Darwin is criticized on FR, there is a certain derangement syndrome that takes hold on many brains here.
“Favoured Races” in this context means favored by nature, not man. And the world was not such a politically correct maelstrom then that the word “race” only meant skin color.
