Miami will hold an “anti-Communist” concert in April in response to Democratic presidential front-runner Sen. Bernie Sanders’ defense of Fidel Castro’s authoritarian regime in Cuba, according to a report. “Our city represents the stories of countless individuals who have risked their lives to flee communism,” Mayor Francis Suarez said, mentioning Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela, the Miami Herald reported on Monday. “Each and every life that has fled communism has proven how the will to pursue democracy and freedom, even in the face of oppression, can never be suppressed or silenced.”

These folks in Miami need to realize it’s not just Comrade Sanders who is sympathetic to Cuba and the Castro regime. It’s the entire Democrat Party as well. The One tried to lift the embargo when he was in office. The Florida GOP needs to remind voters in their state how the left supported Castro over the years. When I was a member of the Young RATS of California years ago I saw more than a few people sporting those infamous Che Guevara t-shirts. When I asked one of them about why they were wearing the shirt of a communist he said to me bluntly that he was a hero taking on “evil” capitalists. That’s when I began questioning my membership in the party, and it was the beginning of my “walkaway” process of leaving the RAT cult!
