(Reuters) - Turkey has decided to no longer stop Syrian refugees from reaching Europe by land and sea, a senior Turkish official told Reuters on Thursday, in anticipation of the imminent arrival of refugees from Syria's Idlib where nearly a million have been displaced.

Turkish police, coast guard and border security officials have been ordered to stand down, the Turkish official added. Earlier on Thursday, a local Turkish governor said an attack on Turkish military in Idlib killed nine soldiers.

War between Turkey and Russia.

Turkey has made it’s bed, foolishly.
China can’t help it now with Russia.
Coronavirus will soon be in the ranks of the Idlib fighters on both sides.

I guess Merkel’s bribe (quid pro quo) to Erdogan wasn’t juicy enough.

Crisis for Erdogan.

Putin is not agreeing to meet with him. NATO has been totally alienated by Erdogan, and will not support him in his illegal aggression in Syria, which is quickly developing into open, high intensity war - entirely Erdogan’s doing.

Erdogan’s stupidity in choosing to replace American air defense systems with Russian systems, leaves his Military dying from Russian air strikes in Syria.

The Turkish economy is tanking. The “peace and prosperity” platform that brought him to power, has been totally betrayed. He has led Turkey down a ruinous road, and the consequences are starting to rain down.

Sounds like Erdogan is the Hugo Chavez of that part of the world. Pretty soon Turkey will resemble Venezuela.

Turkey will no longer stop Syrian migrant flow to Europe: Turkish official:

Why did Turkey stop the Syrian migrants going into Europe in the first place?

So Europe should stop them from leaving Turkey. Let Erdogan and his goons enjoy their guests.

Those in Idlib who aren’t terrorists or their families will want to stay in Syria. The ones heading to Europe via Turkey will be the terrorists who took buses from across Syria the past several years when the SAA gave them a choice to reform, go back to their countries of origin, get on a bus to Idlib, or die.

It was obvious the SAA was herding all the terrorists to Idlib for a reason these past years.

Why did Turkey stop the Syrian migrants going into Europe in the first place?

Because the EU paid him "Danegeld" to keep them from entering Europe.

Gotta wonder how many of those Syrian migrants are really “Syrian” and how many are hard core islamists who came to fight for a calpihate. Many were driven into Idlib because they refused amnesty and integration into a secular Syria when they were driven by the Syrian army out of villages they held and terrorized

Good luck Europe! You just gotta bunch of new radical young men claiming to be “refugees”

the Turks aren’t the problem. Turkey is a gateway to the interior of Europe from the Middle East . . . which has been closed — until today, apparently.

When it comes to Islam, muhammedans emulate their prophet by repeating his behavior/jihad as a pious reflection of faith. Consider this headline:

Turkey will no longer stop Syrian migrant flow to Europe: Turkish official

(Reuters) - Turkey has decided to no longer stop Syrian refugees from reaching Europe by land and sea, a senior Turkish official told Reuters on Thursday, in anticipation of the imminent arrival of refugees from Syria’s Idlib where nearly a million have been displaced.

Examining the Muhammedans calendar, one recognizes the coincidence of their celebrating the very first great migration...hijrah.

From al Khaleej Today (Saudi?):

“United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres voiced “grave concern” about the escalation of fighting in north-west Syria and reiterated his call for a ceasefire.

“The Secretary-General is following with grave concern the escalation in northwest Syria and reports that dozens of Turkish soldiers have been killed by an airstrike,” UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said.

“The Secretary-General reiterates his call for an immediate ceasefire and expresses particular concern about the risk to civilians from escalating military actions. Without urgent action, the risk of even greater escalation grows by the hour.”

In the wake of the bombing, a senior Turkish official said Ankara would no longer stop Syrian refugees from reaching Europe by land and sea, Reuters reported.

Turkish police, coast guard and border security officials have been ordered to stand down, the official said, in anticipation of the imminent arrival of refugees from Syria’s Idlib where nearly a million have been displaced.”

Let’s say that the border between Turkey and Europe is narrow. If Europe wants to stop it, it will.
