I experienced Socialized medicine in Norway and UK, both instances they were horrible and ineffective. i.e. In Canada you have to wait up to 6 weeks to get an MRI. The US it is hours.

in emergencies.

scheduling for non emergencies is poor. and you get bumped.

and thats if they let you have an mri, often youre stuck with an inferior ct scan first, and radiated.

Partly true about the wait times for an MRI. It’s highly variable depending on lots of circumstances. I got an MRI within 2 days. It was at an awkward hour but it was done that fast. One just needs to be flexible. :) As far as other wait times its likely as bad as you can imagine. My advice is don’t get sick but that applies everywhere.

Sheet....I sometimes work in a small rural hospital in NE OK...You come in...and the Provider thinks you need a CT....you are getting it with minutes.
