For a time, former Trump campaign official Carter Page was seen as Darth Vader. Why? Well, he might be a Russian asset because he did some work in the country when he worked for Merrill Lynch. Oh, and he was alleged to be some key player in the collusion scheme between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin based on the unverified and now totally debunked dossier compiled by ex-MI6 spook Christopher Steele. That piece of political opposition research was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and used as credible evidence to secure a FISA spy warrant on Page.
He was also targeted in the FBI’s covert surveillance operation where informants tried to glean information from him, George Papadopoulos, and Sam Clovis under false pretenses and then relay that information to a third party from the Department of Justice. But don’t call it spying. Page’s name and reputation were destroyed based on left-wing lunacy about the Russians helping Trump. And now he can set the record straight, signing a major book deal with Regnery:

Oh, yes, there are questions, like whether the FBI actually vetted the Trump dossier. Based on what has transpired, it appears they didn’t. There are glaring errors in the document, errors that could be easily pointed out. It’s no wonder why disgraced former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe was very cagy about answering this question back in 2017. Not to mention, he’s mentioned in texts between another disgraced FBI agent, Peter Strzok, and his mistress, Lisa Page, where the two mention an “insurance policy ” against Trump. McCabe, known as “Andy” in one peculiar exchange, was said to be in on the meeting about this “ insurance policy .” This reportedly is a reference to the Trump dossier.
Bonus : Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who is the starting quarterback for the Trump-Russia collusion nonsense and ensuing impeachment push, is probably a sociopath.
If you don't feel sympathy for someone who was wrongly smeared for years as being a traitor, and who was spied on by his own government due to FBI lying & subterfuge, then you're not only unqualified to wield power but probably also a sociopath.

I’m a little slow to worry about hat smirking ass Carter Page. CIA and Naval Intel, tons of Russia connections. Joined the campaign outta the blue.
The FBI was completely gobsmacked that their “Russia connected” Trump campaign worker was actually a CIA man.
(because you know, Comey and Brennan NEVER worked together on the “get Trump” project!).
When Russiagate hits, this tool runs straight to the committee and dutifully informs them that he made sure to inform the campaign of every Russian contact he had.
Then in all his smirking interviews he never seemed to get around to mentioning he was a CIA asset, loaned to the FBI to give them access to every single person in the Trump campaign.
Hillary was supposed to win, Page was going to slink back into the shadows, and the world would have never heard his name. He’s a snake and I ain’t buying what he’s selling.
The FBI told Brennan “we need a guy with a lot of Russia connections who can get into the Trump campaign”, and Page is sent over. It’s freaking obvious.
I cannot wait for Big Media to try to convince the citizenry that Russia is working against Sanders to give Trump another 4 years! Sanders honeymooned in the USSR and loves Communism/Socialism. Bwahahahahaha!
Also when Mueller hit, he and Weissman interviewed Page for one day, and decided it was all cool and let him walk. Everyone else gets the rectal exam back to third grade.
Page walks in a couple of hours.

The CIA and the FBI denied Carter Page was a CIA asset and told the CIA everything he knew about Russia; and it was all true. The FISA warrant applications made no mention of these facts.
