Think how many lives would have been saved if there had been some sort of intervention all those years ago.
Now? Find a nice uninhabited spit of am island, the smaller the better, far away from any shipping, boating or any other possibility of interaction with humans and drop his broken hateful ass on it with just enough food supplied every four months to stay alive......until he dies. No human contact ever again.
Life sentence is not the same as execution
