U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s ailing presidential campaign is facing fresh scandal about her false claims of Native American heritage as the Cambridge Democrat tries to mount a 2020 comeback in delegate-rich Super Tuesday states like California.
A group of 200 Native Americans issued an open letter Tuesday night scolding Warren for identifying as part Cherokee, citing new reporting from the Los Angeles Times that showed $800 million in federal grants meant for Native Americans went instead to “white members of fake ‘tribes.’”

It should have ended her political career. Not one of her Democrat “opponents” will call her out on it. Apart from all of the race angles, she just flat out lied.
What about the pregnancy lie. That’s a total fabrication.
But Bloomberg told a joke.
“Cambridge Democrat.” She claimed to be a woman of color, two victims rolled into one. I remember during the Skippy Gates incident in Cambridge, a neighboring white woman was interviewed by a TV channel in the immediate aftermath and she was energetic in a response. She rubbed her arms for starters and said “This.... this is what is wrong...” meaning her whiteness. That stuck with me. Cambridge is a nuthouse. But Warren is on a national stage now and though she may be floundering she is still a hostile representative of what is truly wrong with America: the liberal ideology.
There’s so much white privilege that Liz Warren felt the need to lie about being non-white to advance her career. Why not? No elected official or candidate is going to directly call her out on it. The closest has been President Trump mocking her as Pocahontas.
