I was talking yesterday to a member of our church who says he is a blue dog democrat. Even tho he has been in political office in the past, I think he has come to his senses but hard to let go. He gave some advice recently to his grandson who is interested in politics not to vote in a primary until after he gets his bachelor’s degree. Personally I think a Christian Democrat is an oxymoron as well as is a Pro-Abortion proclaiming Christian of either party.

“... a Christian Democrat is an oxymoron as well as is a Pro-Abortion proclaiming Christian of either party.”

So true.

Long-held opinions/alliances that reflect upon ourselves are hard to let go of after learning we are wrong.

Cognitive dissonance usually sets in. “I know in my heart I’m wrong, but I can’t admit it...no no no no no....”
