This is a political Catch 22.
If Trump just acts quietly to take preventive measures, maybe they work, maybe they don’t. If they work, he gets no credit. If they don’t, CNN screams 24/7.
If Trump makes a big show of preventive measures, same problem if they don’t work. CNN will blame him 24/7 — in that case, tariffs and he didn’t do enough. If they do work, CNN screams he made a mountain out of a molehill. Regardless of the health outcome, he precipitates a panic. Grocery stores cleaned out. No gas, stock market dives even more than it has, run on banks, etc. That happens whether the virus is going to be a crisis or not, if he makes a big show of it.
So net net, there’s no predictably good political outcome here for the leader — only bad ones. So Trump will do the responsible thing and quietly work prevention.

My thoughts exactly. The traitors control certain parts of the swamp. Remember the story a few days ago that DJT was angry that someone had counter-manded his directives and allowed some infected patients to enter the United States. Could be another plot to introduce this awful virus to our population in an effort to damage the President.
