From time to time, I have worked with well educated Canadians who cross the border daily for employment in the U.S.

Nice people generally, but when it comes to American politics or world events they become the most tiresome sanctimonious pontificators you've never wanted to meet.

Some Canadian kid in my high school (in Caracas) named all the US presidents and then challenged me to name the Canadian premiers. What I should have said was, “Who cares?”...
