India can be a powerful ally of the USA, and Indian Americans could be an valuable addition to the Republican coalition. Compared to the average, Indian Americans are often very highly educated, productive and self-sufficient.

I caught heat from other Freepers recently because of sentiments like yours. I have Indian-American friends and co-workers (before retiring). Some people here hate them for supposedly taking American jobs. I say I don't know any that are assaulting, robbing, raping or doing what other races like Mexicans and blacks do. I know, not PC to say but true.

I knew that because my late wife was from India but what is the phrase for "The devil in me greets the devil in you"? Might come in handy sometime.
