EPIC donated to Obama, and wound up making many $billions after Obamacare went through and the electronic medical record (EMR) was mandated. Despite years working on it and trying to improve it, it is still a cumbersome and poorly designed EMR.

Totally agree. But, to be fair, just about every EMR blows chunks. I moved into medical IT about five years ago coming from other industries. Was shocked just how badly EMRs suck.

But the best EMR out there. I have worked in many and have been to epic for advanced classes. It has improved my practice greatly over when we had an inferior EHR
