Washington(CNN) The US intelligence community's top election security official appears to have overstated the intelligence community's formal assessment of Russian interference in the 2020 election, omitting important nuance during a briefing with lawmakers earlier this month, three national security officials told CNN.
The official, Shelby Pierson, told lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election with the goal of helping President Donald Trump get reelected.
The US intelligence community has assessed that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election and has separately assessed that Russia views Trump as a leader they can work with. But the US does not have evidence that Russia's interference this cycle is aimed at reelecting Trump, the officials said.

Just a humble guess, but I think all of these 50-year old (or older) CIA pretender analysts....are just breathing fumes off the 1980s, and haven’t gotten anything right since Chernobyl (1986).
If you asked the same idiots if Twitter, Instagram or Facebook affected the 2011 Russian legislative election or the 2012 Russian presidential election...they’d just giggle.

At this point, I don’t know whether the bulk of the CIA analysts, managers and executives are driven more by malevolence, incompetence, stupidity, gullibility, desire to virtue signal or desire to advance their careers by proving their loyalty to the deep state culture. Whatever it is, it’s clear that most of these well-compensated buffoons (such as Shelby Pierson and LTC Marshmallow Vindman) are of no benefit to our nation.

Talk about a load of crap. These fools want us to believe that they are so high up in the clouds, so much above us, that their conclusions are so intricate, that a simple yes or no, a black and white distinction, is so much below their capabilities.
They will say with 100% certitude that Russia meddled in the election, but they never, ever, explain just how the Russians did it and were able to master the complexities of American elections when Americans themselves have not accomplished such mastery in over two hundred years of trying.
Russians took out (supposedly) $60,000 in Facebook ads. That was the interference.
What they did doesn’t matter. IT’s a pre-scripted Deep State psyop to manipulate our political system. They leaked the ‘top secret’ briefing of Trump last week and idiots watching MSM got several days of the manipulation media telling them Trump was a Russian asset. Apparently, they believe this is working so they also leaked that Bernie Sanders was being supported by Russia as well. Basically, anyone the elites don’t want = supported by Russia.
Now after the hysteria, we get the retraction very few people will see. It’s the post-factual MSM at work.
Of course, the real damage to our Republic is from our media lying to our population telling them their election system isn’t secure (it can be “hacked”), telling them that their POTUS isn’t legitimate and that their entire Constitution is racist.
Why are we getting all concerned about a handful of fake fakebook posts?
