I think it’s the genuine anger in her eyes, but misdirected at civilization just trying to advance beyond the stone age. So much of the world wants to go back to that time of foraging for nuts and berries and living to about 25. Life and death was so much simpler then.
Easier to grab some tail, too. Since everyone had to reproduce and raise the kid to survivable size before they died of old age at 25.
