Will Bernie really be the Dem. nominee? Suppose he wins?

It is beginning to look that way. Bernie has the money and organization to garner the most delegates. The real question is whether he can win 1991 delegates to win the nomination thru the primaries. If it goes to the convention, the 500 super-delegates come into play on the second round.

Will the Dem Establishment take the nomination away from Bernie and risk splitting the party? How can they retain the Bernie supporters in the 2020 election if they don't nominate Bernie?

There are no winner-take-all states in the Dem primaries meaning that there will be a number of candidates with a significant number of delegates. The Dems made a major mistake by front-loading the primaries. By the end of Super Tuesday, 40% of the delegates will have been awarded. This is a major advantage for Bernie who will have the most delegates and most votes after Super Tuesday. His challengers will be splitting up the remainder of the votes and delegates guaranteeing that Bernie will have the most votes and delegates coming into the Convention. Hard to see how the Dem Establishment can stop that.

Klobuchar and Warren are dead women walking. Klobuchar will drop out after either SC or Super Tuesday. Warren may try to stick it out longer, but she is fading fast. Biden got a life preserver in NV, but his fate rests with SC. He needs a big win to keep afloat. He is trailing in many of the Super Tuesday races including CA and TX. Bernie will get first or second in virtually every primary.

Mayor Pete will get stomped in SC. Super Tuesday is his last gasp. Bloomberg will live or die with the results of Super Tuesday. How long will he continue to throw money down a rat hole and what is his real agenda? The Dems want his money to fund their Congressional candidates. They can't piss him off.
