I concur. The Democratic party has moved left over the years, so that their rightmost ideology is socialism. The progression is:
Socialism —> Fascism —> Communism

The “reparations support” is just to deal with his abysmal ratings with blacks; no reason to take him seriously there.
In terms of abolishing the electoral college, it has been a mission of the Dems since Bush II vs. Gore. NY and CA want to pick our presidents; it is that simple.
