Missing Idaho mom arrested in Hawaii, held on $5 million bail

Lori Vallow, the 47-year-old woman wanted by authorities in Idaho in connection to the September disappearance of her two children, was arrested in Hawaii on Thursday.

Vallow, under investigation by the Rexburg Police Department, was arrested by the Kaua'i Police Department on a warrant issued by Madison County, Idaho.

She's facing multiple charges, including two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children, police said in a statement. Her bail has been set at $5 million.

The maximum sentence on each count of desertion of a child under Idaho law is 14 years in prison, according to Madison County prosecuting attorney Rob Wood.

Her children, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "J.J." Vallow, have been missing about five months. She failed to comply with a court order to produce them in Madison County by Jan. 30.

"First of all, we wish to thank the public for the massive outpouring of concern regarding this case," Kaua'i Chief of Police Todd G. Raybuck said in the statement. "We also want to thank everyone for their patience while investigators worked diligently to comprehensively gather everything they needed in order to obtain this arrest warrant."

I can’t believe they waited this long to arrest her. And what about her new husband?

Sounds like he may be just as guilty or at least an accomplice. But yes, Idaho is after her first.

A missing person, who no one really missed at all.

AIn’t missing her at all, no matter what the headlines say.

How can a journalist write an article about missing children and not mention what is being done to find them?

The same way they can write a headline about a missing mom when she was never missing. The police, media, and individuals have had her under surveillance for months.

I have no idea what the headline writer was thinking.

This psychotic bitty and her psychotic hubby need to be waterboarded until they tell the authorities where those kids are. I fear the worst, but the kids need to be found either way.

Well, that’s a good point. She should’ve ran away to New York, land of the bail free.

This reads like psychotic devil worship.
Kay Vallow Woodcock posted on Facebook that Joshua Jaxon (JJ) Vallow was her grandson. “My beloved brother Charles and his wife Lori adopted him in 2013,” she wrote. Vallow Woodcock then launched into a series of accusations; among them, she alleged that Lori Vallow changed when she began “spending all her time with a new religious group.”

“He’s a beautiful, intelligent 7 y/o with the biggest heart, most beautiful smile & has life challenges of a level 2 boy on the Autism spectrum,” wrote Vallow Woodcock of her grandson. “Early intervention allowed him to flourish beyond all expectations. Lori was a wonderful, loving, attentive mother. Things started changing over the past 18+ months when Lori began spending all her time with a new religious group, that we refer to as a ‘cult.'”

The post alleges: “She eventually deserted my brother & JJ for 2.5 months early this year. Charles did his best to save the marriage, of which she had no interest. On July 11, 2019 in Chandler, AZ, Charles went to Lori’s home (which he paid for) to get JJ & take to school. She and her brother Alex were there. Alex shot Charles twice in the chest killing him, claiming self-defense. 4 people were there that day. Lori, Alex and these 2 missing children.”

Vallow Woodcock continued to allege in the lengthy Facebook post: “Alex mysteriously passed away on 12/12 & these two children haven’t been seen since September 23rd. Worse still, Lori already remarried and the wife of her new husband Chad Daybell, mysteriously died on October 19th, in Rexburg, ID. I’m posting this and articles related to the case begging anyone who believes in justice to please share my post. Help us shed light on this. Someone out there knows something but doesn’t know how all the pieces fit together. Help me connect them with the police so we can bring justice to my brother and the other victims. Please join us in prayer that we find JJ & Tylee alive.”

As per easternidahonews.com

"The Rexburg Police Department announced their search for JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan on Dec. 20, 2019, and the following day investigators announced their mother, Lori Daybell and her new husband, Chad Daybell, as persons of interest in their disappearance."

Yeah, cops have been looking for these two. Some other stuff going on with this one, stay tuned. This couple married within weeks of the death of Chad Daybell’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell. Lori (Cox/unk/Lagioia/Ryan/Vallow/Daybell)’s brother, Alex Cox, shot and killed her former husband(Vallow) in self defense (Investigation pending).

"When Lori's brother[Alex] shot and killed her husband, there were several people present," Sheriff Humphries told KTVB. "To my knowledge, those people are all missing or all dead, the two children being two of those who are missing."

Not long after the deadly shooting, Alex Cox also turned up dead. His cause of death remains unknown. I guess that investigation is pending too. And Arizona might be looking at the natural causes in Tammy Daybell's recent death a little closer.
