Because Obama bought the seat the same way. You all really think that Blagovich invented the idea that Illinois senate seats like that were for sale? Except Obama would not have had any money. Perhaps Soros was involved?

Obama had Saudi backing from early on. Arab money paid for his Columbia degree. The Sauds had a lot of money invested in him. Why would they not buy him a Senate seat?
