That 2,500 count is suspect. I perused the Las Vegas Convention Center website a few days ago as this place is huge. It is a quarter-million square feet. There are rooms that hold 50 to as many as 7,500 people. Plus the main areas or combined. The parking lot holds 10,000 cars. It’d be a bit embarrassing for Trump to hold an event with just 2,500 people in an area with over 2 million people.
No argument here... a figure of approx. 200,000 capacity, when the facilities are used as an exhibition hall, had me scratching my head.
