There is no time off for good behavior in federal sentencing. The sentence you get is what you serve.

So 18 months in minimum security.Parole has been abolished in the federal system, and time off for good behavior cannot exceed 15% of the sentence. So, aabsent a pardon or commutation or reversal on appeal, he will serve 34 months (85% of 40 months).
