Michael Bloomberg shrugged off his ghastly debate performance with his campaign vowing he's just 'warming up' after the former mayor was universally panned for his stage debut.
'You know you are a winner when you are drawing attacks from all the candidates. Everyone came to destroy Mike tonight. It didn’t happen,' Bloomberg's campaign manager Kevin Sheekey said in a statement after the debate.
'He was just warming up tonight,' Sheekey added.
The general consensus was Bloomberg bombed in Wednesday night's debate, his first time appearing with his rivals for the Democratic nomination.

Bloomberg has a shot at FL in the primary.

I think he just saw this debate as a necessary evil to get out of the way.
The ‘Bloomberg Bombardment’ of ads the last couple of days have all been directed toward black people.
Media is all in for Mayor Homo. They hate Burnie even more than Bloomberg and are happy to take his money.
Bloomberg will be hearing a constant chorus. “So tell use Mike. How are you, a wealthy and powerful man, any different than Harvey Weinstein? What are you hiding with those non disclosure agreements? Just what did you do to those women? Let them talk.”
It wasn't. He didn't even qualify to participate under the normal rules. Paid off DNC Chair Tom Perez to change the rules just so he could qualify.
He didn't need to do that. He was doing fine not participating in the debates and blanketing the airwaves with slick ads.
Everyone over talking the other, Fchicktodd and a coupla of other pundits crapping in the demonRAT punchbowl, and the Can't-I-dates spewing out all sorts of garbage.

That crossed my mind - that he hoped to not qualify.
I just see him as a spoiler.
The only substantive point that the wanna be gnome-inee made last night was to remind his former female employees that he expects their NDAs to stand in full effect!
All he has to do is ask Sanders and Warren about all those congressmen who used tax payer money to pay off women they sexually abused while making them sign NDA’s, with the full knowledge and concurrence of everyone in congress. Bernie knew about it and so did Warren. What did they do about it?

Under the old rules, he’d never have qualified right till they got to the convention.
Any chance the DNC changed the rules to allow Mini to debate knowing that he would crash and burn? Perhaps this was their way of telling him that he is not welcome, only his money is welcome.
The media is making out like a bandit. Doomberg spent almost 350million on TV ads. Money right to the bottom line for them. Now with controversy, the others will have to double down on their ads to stay relevant.
Until he runs out of money (not likely), Bloomie will be around.
