Same here. But now with the internet it is quite easy to search and find companies in one’s field.
I think one problem now from observing my son go through this exercise is that companies nowadays get so many more applications than back in the day ... so you have to have one heck of a resume for anyone with any authority to see it.
That’s the problem. I’ve looked at my kids and they seem decent, but no interviews.
I’m really surprised by my daughter.
