In this economy I would say these people did not pick the right field or are incompetent. One has to pick a field for which you have passion and can excel and get employed. Its not that hard really if you have reasonable intelligence and can apply yourself.
I don’t think that’s it. I think it’s hard to get a job if you have no connection to it. There aren’t as many companies going to campuses to hire. There aren’t as many job fairs.
It’s depressing.
