That area of Warsaw around the train station and Palace of culture was a wasteland for a long time. Although, in the gold old days the Warsaw Marriott was always interesting for the “clientele”. Ha ha. Nice to see all the new buildings there from the past decade or two.
Reminds me of the old joke, “The view from The Palace Of Culture is the best view of Warsaw, because you don’t see The Palace of Culture.”
