Ah yes, it’s those terrible POLES that are causing problems in Britain, since they don’t speak English well!
If only we had more PAKISTANIS fluent in English to immigrate to Britain, everything would be fine.

Poles have had a strong connection to the UK since WW2. I met a lot of Poles working illegally in the UK in the ‘90s. Nannies, hotel workers for the women and construction for the guys. I epxect much the same now. The better jobs requiring work permits will be tougher for them to get, I suppose.
