Years ago there were similar studies showing taller people having more severe and early cardiac problems.
The males in my wife’s immediate family are 6’5 and 6’7+. Both are still alive at 70+. The shorter one has had some CV problems and they are up to date. The taller one still played 5 man basketball with his high school team until 3 years ago. This year he gave up singles tennis. The other one is on a couple of cardiac drugs, and he still runs and manages their small farm.
