I agree with you. The number of years was excessive. I often think the people who do not seem to be likeable get heavier sentences for crimes that are not threatening to the general public, and other offenders get lighter sentences.
Agree, and the fact that the IL Gov. and bigwig D politicians here are all furious today about this and screeching at Trump for freeing this horrible criminal early is a sure sign it was the right thing to do.
Now let’s wait and see what the newer grayer Blago is all about. He has little to gain by trying to ingratiate himself with the Dems, he owes a lot to Trump, and who can argue that going from his former lifestyle to 8 years in prison can change a man? He say’s he’s closer to God, let’s hope that manifests itself in some good ways.
