Trump expressed all the confidence in the world in him (much more than he deserves). Trump said he will absolutely not back off Twitter. If Barr leaves, F him. Elevate Rudy as acting AJ since the DS would never approve him. Set Rudy lose to go total mid evil between now and November.

If he goes home it will be to try to create a crisis for POTUS, but good riddance from my perspective. Trump can name anyone he wants on a short-term, acting basis, right?
If I were Trump and I knew Mitch would let his Senate approve anyone who wasn’t out to get me, I think I’d just go with a succession of temporary hires, while the Senate gets to shoot down my supposed nominees. Rudy’s a start, but there are more he can trust to follow him.

I have no problem with any of Trump’s tweets—except for the ones regarding pending legal cases. Those are a problem. POTUS just handed his enemies yet another bat to beat him over the head.
How would you feel if you were Barr, trying to do your job and your boss is publicly micro-managing you? I wouldn’t like it, in fact I would be very angry.

The good news is the Vacancies Reform Act allow POTUS to choose pretty much whoever he wants to fill in as Acting AG for up to 210 days.
There are 258 days until November 3. Barr can leave after about 2 more months. Then POTUS can appoint an Acting AG that can serve until after the election.
