Yes, he’s exonerated but he’s also no longer Governor because of the scurrilous fabricated charges which raised such a fire storm that he resigned rather than put up with any more abuse. Someone should be prosecuted for false charges.

Same thing happened to Sarah Palin. When she quit in her 3rd year as governor rather than spend all the taxpayer's time fighting nuisance lawsuits, the left then jeered, "Nyah, nya nya nya nyah, QUITTER!"

This probably started as an effort mainly to try to create a massive scandal to swirl and engulf the entire Missouri GOP and last into the general election of 2018 and help McCaskill defeat Hawley.
