It’s funny to hear that as “to reach out” in a communicative sense once had warm, fuzzy overtones. Now it’s no different from the communicative definition of “contact/contacted.”

I’m glad I’m not the only person who can’t stand that wordy expression. Clear and concise communication has become a lost art.

I noticed that as well. Strange, but I suppose they are trying to frame their petty and mean actions in a positive way so they use positive language.
