I remember one presidential candidate who was also a billionaire that tried to buy the presidency but failed. Bloomberg will also fail.

Bloomberg has some minor understanding on how to play the stock market and accumulate capital. The public safety factor during his period as mayor, which he often talks about? A lot of this goes back to the 1990s and what Rudy did in correcting bad behavior on the streets of NY.

In a debate situation...he’s a marginal ‘4’. He’s capable of saying some very colorful comments that have to be explained later. He’s been a Democrat, converted to a Republican, then converted to an independent, and today says he’s a Democrat. He’ll be whatever you want him to be.

He’s not stupid (has a degree in electrical engineering). He has the wealth to match anything that Trump does for the rest of the campaign season (easily spending a billion if required).

But if you asked me over the Bernie-supporters going to him and supporting his campaign to November...that’s a complete zero. They’d stay home or vote Green Party.

He’ll probably fail. He was actually a popular mayor who many thought governed well. But, since, he has abandoned a lot of the policies that made him successful, so he ain’t got much to run on. And there seem to be countless examples of things he said that might be found unpalatable among the dem hoi polloi.

I was just thinking. . . He’s kinda like Ross Perot without any personality.
