The Federal Judges Association will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday to discuss concerns members have over President Trump and top Justice Department officials intervening in the case of longtime Trump friend and adviser Roger Stone.

The association has more than 1,000 members, and says it supports a "fair, impartial, and independent judiciary." The group's president, U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe, told USA Today that members decided they "could not wait" until the organization's spring conference to address the matter. "There are plenty of issues that we are concerned about," added Rufe, a George W. Bush appointee. "We'll talk all of this through."

Well past time to clear out this nest of activist appointees. The Court system requires oversight, too...

perhaps they could find time to look at George Soros interfering in the 2020 election, by alleging Obama-loving Zuckerberg is somehow on Trump’s side! what a joke:

17 Feb: Financial Times: Letter: Remove Zuckerberg and Sandberg from their posts
From George Soros, Paris, France
Mark Zuckerberg should stop obfuscating the facts by piously arguing for government regulation (“We need more regulation of Big Tech”, February 17)(LINK).
Mr Zuckerberg appears to be engaged in some kind of mutual assistance arrangement with Donald Trump that will help him to get re-elected. Facebook does not need to wait for government regulations to stop accepting any political advertising in 2020 until after the elections on November 4. If there is any doubt whether an ad is political, it should err on the side of caution and refuse to publish. It is unlikely that Facebook will follow this course.
Therefore, I repeat my proposal, Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg should be removed from control of Facebook. (It goes without saying that I support government regulation of social media platforms.)

Just where do they have any authority to speak on this matter? They are nothing but arrogant liberals sticking their noses into executive branch matters where they have no basis be.

The political jackasses who announced the recommended sentence didn’t have the authority to do so without having it approved by someone, Barr in this case, higher up. Case closed.

There are various quasi-official judges’ associations and conferences at every level and they are almost all rife with politics. And, with rare exceptions, they are run by liberals, who tend to be obsessed with networking and career politics.

“The association has more than 1,000 members, and says it supports a “fair, impartial, and independent judiciary.” “

LOL. This sounds like a Babylon Bee parody. This useless association is just a group of mucky-mucks trying to feel important when they actually aren’t..

Very true. It’s infested with personalities that make their own rules, not from legislation by people representatives but by an outlaw compact under color of law.
